The Goal Setting Process:

Goal Setting Process:
Let’s talk about goals. Do goals really help? I always wanted to spend more time reading but never really got
around to it. I would find myself waching television or spending time on the computer. A few years ago I set a goal to read
15 books; I easily accomplished that goal so the next year I set a goal to read 20 books. I accomplished that goal as well.
I now read 25 books or more every year and I love every minute of it. So do goals work? They work for me; that was one of
my minor goals.
So, what is the process?
According to “The Secret” there are 3 steps.
- Ask
for what you want. Write it out.
- Answer (Your
wish is my command). We don’t have to know how it is going to manifest. It just will. The universe always answers. Source
Energy acknowledges your desires, agrees with your desires, knows your desires, and flows with your desire....
- Allowing: Bring yourself into alignment with what you are asking
for, allow yourself to feel it. If you have fear or anger you will block it because you are not in alignment with what you
are asking for. You have to feel yourself receiving it. The way you feel everything; it will manifest into your experience.
Turn the fantasy into fact. If it is a car that you are manifesting; go drive that car; if it is a house, go visit that house.
Do everything that you have to do to generate that feeling. That will attract it or it will give you some idea or action to
take.
Having goals sets you apart. Remember when setting
your goals be very clear. You are on a mission. It is not enough just to set goals; you have to be passionate about setting
them. Set goals that challenge you and make you reach out. Tackle a little more than you think you can handle. Own your goals.
You have to have them at heart. You have to know what you do counts. Set goals that have meaning for you and for others.
Here are the five areas of your life that you may want to consider when setting goals.
Mentally, Spiritually,
Physically, Socially and Financially.
Marian Willianson says;
“We
should think about our spiritual goals as well. No so much about where you want to be in 5 or 10 years from now, but who do
you want to be in 5 or 10 years from now? Map it out”. (“The Gift of Change” Marian Williamson.)
