A New Beginning

Universities just opened last week. A new beginning for most of you.

Let me ask you some questions. What were you doing the last time you really felt good about yourself? Who were you serving? How grateful were you for the opportunity to serve?

Some of you know exactly what you want to do with your life. Others are not sure. The rest of you may be stuck or have no idea what you want. You may be just feeling your…way.

If you are one of those who is “just feeling your way,”…there are a number of things I can suggest for you to do. Discover what your purpose in life is(Call or e-mail Conrad today: 506.473.1785 or E-mail coach@conradtoner.com for a free 20 minute session.) Most of us have never taken time to decide what our purpose is. We just go with the flow and never discover our music.

That doesn’t have to be the case. If you don’t set your own goals, someone may take advantage of your talent and you may find yourself just making a living instead of designing a life of your own.

A new Beginning

Decide today that you will make the best of whatever courses you have chosen to follow. Don’t let yourself fall into the trap of just floating through your studies. There are only a few short months between now and Christmas break. That is a good time to look at what is possible.

Whatever stage you are at, take advantage of this time to set new goals. Don’t allow anyone to attempt to tell you that you can’t reach them. Once your goals are set, you are already moving in the right direction. If you are passionate about your goals you will move your life to a new level, maybe even one that you never thought possible.

Remember, you are always at the right place at anytime in your life. Even if you are having a hard time right now, it may be because you haven’t found your true purpose. Between now and Christmas break is a good time to think about that. We all have a reason for being here. We each have our own compass. We just have to find out where it is pointed.

Once you discover what your true purpose is and your compass is pointed in the right direction nothing can hold you back. You will realize that life is a gift and the more we give, the more we receive. We must see it that way. Every time we serve another we serve ourselves. There is an abundance and we just have to know how to take advantage of it.

Life is so much better when you know that you are fulfilling your dream. There is that powerful little voice in each of us that wants to guide us in the right direction. Take a few minutes each day to listen to what it is telling you and be grateful.

For anyone who wants to improve or may be still unsure of their purpose in life, I am here for you. Please take advantage of my free 20 minute session. Give me a call or e-mail me. See contact numbers below.

On August 29th. My good friend Wayne Dyer passed. We will all miss him and my prayers go out to his family. He left us with this wonderful advice:

Love and value yourself and don’t feel guilty about it. Take the time you need to meditate, exercise, read and relax. Then you can help others because you will feel good about yourself.
